MIBF along with 100+ other partners have signed onto the UndocuBlack Network’s letter demanding a stop to deportations to Mauritania.

A year ago this week, we obtained our 501(c)3 status! We are proud to be part of the National Bail Fund Network who continues to support us and to Minnesota Freedom Fund NorCal Resist Prairielands Freedom Fund who helped post bonds for us until we obtained our 501(c)3 status.

MIBF was able to post our 13th bond this week to free another person from ICE!

Last week, we joined over 200 organizations to urge President Biden to drop his appeal and end the asylum ban immediately.

As the United States celebrates "freedom" on July 4, MIBF calls on us all to contemplate what freedom means and for who. We will continue working towards a society in which the concept of freedom is achieved in its fullest and truest sense, rather than as merely a symbolic and historic idea.

We joined over 50 organizations in a letter transmitted this afternoon to ICE concerning its anticipated pivot to exclusive use of CeBONDs (an online/electronic system for posting immigration bonds that ICE has stated is intended to replace/eliminate the option of posting immigration bonds in person) on June 1, 2023.
