Reading and Teach-In Event April 26, 2025

Our reading and teach-in event on Saturday was a huge success! We had a full house and felt so much love from the community. A heartfelt thank you to Pilsen Community Books for hosting and collaborating with us, as well as generously donating $2,168 from their Indie Bookstore Day sales to MIBF!

Special thanks to our incredible board members (especially Ian, Rafa, and Carlina for taking part!) for organizing the event alongside PCB, and to our amazing readers: Alejandra Oliva, Angelica Julia, Faisal Mohyuddin, Marcelo Hernandez Castillo, Diego Báez, and Daniel Borzutzky.

There are still a few limited edition prints by Evangeline Stott available at PCB — with 100% of proceeds continuing to support MIBF until they're sold out.
